MJTI’S ONLINE GRADUATE SCHOOL IS GROWING

Rabbi Yochanan said, “He who possesses learning and godliness is like an artist with all his tools at hand” (Avot de-Rabbi Nathan, 22).

MJTI is first and foremost a school and the School of Jewish Studies (SJS) is at the forefront of our educational mission. With its faculty of Messianic Jewish scholar-teachers, SJS is growing as a leader in Jewish education. In fact, our school now has more graduate students than most Jewish Studies departments in U.S. universities. Even more, increasing numbers of our graduate students are also involved in studies that lead toward ordinations as Messianic Jewish rabbis.

Why is the School of Jewish Studies primarily offering online classes? Because Americans need solutions for busy lives and the internet makes online learning both accessible and affordable. As one MJTI student replied on an evaluation form, “This type of course is best for a working family!” It is exciting to think that MJTI is positioned to become one of the top providers of online Jewish graduate education. This is one example in which Messianic Judaism is playing an important role in the Jewish world.
